On behalf of my fellow travelers, Carrie, Vanessa and Cheri, I would like to express my sincerest thanks to Nature expeditions india, and particularly to tour guides and staff that worked so hard to make our trip memorable.

We started researching about our trip to India in early 2004. As we began planning our trip with the expert assistance of Bilal Chapri, we were pleasantly surprised that Nature expeditions india was willing to build an itinerary based on the specific places we wished to visit while in India. We were intrigued by the different types and styles of tours they offered. The final itinerary Discovery created for us was, truly, a journey of a lifetime.

We traveled to Northern India during March/April 2005. We had the opportunity to visit Delhi, Agra, Varanasi, Jaipur, Ranthambore National Park and a few rural villages. Highlights of our trip included seeing the Taj Mahal at sunrise and again at sunset, watching the early morning activity along the Ganges from a boat in Varanasi, searching tigers in Ranthambore and ascending the Amber Fort by elephant back in Jaipur and above all exploring lesser known places & charming villages which very few tourists are fortunate to experience. Although our family and friends were initially worried about our safety as an ALL WOMEN travel group, we encountered absolutely no problem and were delighted with how we were treated while in India. Our tour guides were informative, helpful and respectful. We especially liked the fact that we were given the choice on how we wanted to spend the day. We were not constrained to an inflexible schedule. Because our tour allowed us to travel in our small group, we did not experience the usual annoyances that are often times associated with large group package tours.

All of our tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. We, infact, had a woman tour guide, who specially arranged for a bicycle rickshaw ride through Old Delhi – a highlight of our trip. Of all the cities we visited, Varanasi was our favourite. This was truly an amazing experience. Watching the sunrise over the Ganges river during the early morning activity of the Ghats will be something that I will never forget. We especially enjoyed an extra night boat ride on the Ganges. I would highly recommend that Varanasi be added to any travel itinerary – my memories of Varanasi will last a lifetime.

All in all, our tour was extremely well organized. Our accommodations were very comfortable and well located. By far the best part of our trip was the people that we met along the way. The quality of services were well beyond anything that we could have ever anticipated. I have had the special privilege of traveling all over the world and without a doubt, my trip to India has been my favourite. A large part of that is based on the services and people I had opportunity to meet through Nature expeditions india. Because of the vastness and diversity of India, it is impossible to see everything in one trip. Therefore, I am already looking forward to my next journey to India, and would highly recommend Nature expeditions india to anyone considering taking a trip to India. My sincerest thanks, beautiful country.

(Dhauladhar)May I take this opportunity to say a very special THANK YOU to your company-Nature expeditions india India for the amazing guides on our recent trek through the beautiful Himalayas. They made the magnificent scenery come alive with their knowledge of each individual area, especially when we paid a visit to the Childrens Tibetan Village, Dharamshala, visit to the residence of H. H. Dalai Lama. When we first met those wonderful trekking crew they put us at our ease & although our trek was tough by my standards, their skill, knowledge & friendliness shown through from the very beginning, just made our trek so much easier & so worthwhile. Your company should be very proud in employing such personnel. Your company was perfect in every detail & all the arrangements were first class. Jeeps always ready to pick us up, with warm friendly and careful drivers. Bus trip to Agra to visit the Taj Mahal was wonderful & everything was perfect.

But before I close, I can’t leave out thanking the great chef & his amazing food. To thank the porters, the boy who always had hot water ready for us to shower at the end of each day & the marvelous bonus of toilet. Equipment & tents were of high quality. I can’t praise your company enough for making my trip & indeed the whole EMMS group so memorable.

I once again thank you so much for such a nice adventure tour in your most beautiful country.

A really amazing trip! Far more enjoyable than Egypt! Altaf Chapri deserves a gold star and entire Nature expeditions india team were excellent, including Dr. Naveen and local horse rider Dalpat and everyone down to the grooms. The mechanics and organization of such a large riding group worked very well. The itinerary was well planned, destinations were superb and we enjoyed the special care and accommodations throughout with variety of foods. We loved the evenings entertainment – the folk culture is so rich. Seeing the Brooke Hospital and vets in action was truly memorable and moving. It gave us an insight into their operation and showed us how dedicated they are, working in very difficult circumstances daily. Riding Marwari (a huge honor!) and of course, seeing the work of the Brook mobile teams. Completing a challenge, supporting a very, very worthwhile cause and on the way in doing so, seeing parts of the country we would never normally see. The horses were well chosen, fit and capable, appropriate tack and reasonably matched to ability – in groups able to trot/cantor/gallop.

Thank you once again for an excellent trip that surpassed all our expectations, which has left us with some wonderful memories of things that we feel very privileged to have done.
